LAS VEGAS, NV, UNITED STATES, November 3, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — MarketCrest, the law firm growth agency behind The Law Firm Intake Playbook, participated in three educational sessions at the 8am Kaleidoscope conference in Las Vegas.
Held September 22–24 at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, Kaleidoscope brought together legal professionals and industry leaders for discussions on law firm management, technology, marketing, and business growth. Hosted by 8am, a professional business platform purpose-built for lawyers, accountants, and other professionals, the conference explored how firms can use emerging technology to improve operations and client service.
Scott Berry, Founder and President of MarketCrest, presented on AI-assisted marketing, online visibility, and practical content planning alongside fellow speakers from AttorneySync, the Law Offices of Giselle Rodriguez, Practice42, and Lai & Turner Law Firm.
“Our message was simple,” said Berry. “AI is changing how consumers find information, but it is not changing the fundamentals of trust, authority and client acquisition. Law firms still need to create opportunities, capture opportunities, and convert those opportunities into signed retainers.”
MarketCrest’s first workshop of the conference, “Digital Marketing Strategies for Your Firm,” was CLE-accredited and focused on practical applications of AI rather than prompts and hype.
The session introduced attendees to the AAA Framework: Acquire, Amplify and Accelerate, showing firms how to transform their existing expertise into marketing assets.
The workshop emphasized that law firms already possess valuable content sources that AI cannot replicate, including client questions, intake conversations, FAQs, case trends, reviews, and real-world legal experience.
The framework follows three steps:
1. Acquire unique content opportunities from existing firm knowledge and data.
2. Amplify valuable insights across multiple marketing channels, including blogs, email newsletters, social media and video.
3. Accelerate execution using AI while keeping human expertise at the center of strategy and decision-making.
These steps help firms turn their existing knowledge into content that attracts prospective clients and addresses questions that may prevent them from taking the next step.
“AI certainly creates content,” Berry said. “It doesn’t create wisdom. The firms winning with AI aren’t simply producing more content. They’re turning existing expertise into more useful marketing assets that stand out against competition.”
The second workshop, “The New Rules of Getting Noticed,” explored how consumer behavior is evolving as prospective clients increasingly rely on tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI-powered search experiences.
The session examined how established SEO practices can support visibility in AI-powered search and what law firms should know about Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). The presentation addressed four key considerations for law firm visibility:
1. What is changing in search and online discovery.
2. What SEO principles remain unchanged.
3. What useful content, credible information and a strong online presence can support visibility in traditional and AI-powered search.
4. The most common mistakes firms are making as they react to AI-driven search.
The workshop reinforced that websites remain one of the most powerful publishing platforms available to law firms, and that educational content, video, and authority-building assets continue to play a critical role in firm visibility.
The workshop also introduced the AI Visibility thesis, which argues that AI is not replacing client acquisition but may become an increasingly important gatekeeper between a consumer’s first impression and a signed retainer.
The third workshop focused on execution. Titled “Your 90-Day Marketing Playbook”, the session provided attendees with a step-by-step content planning framework designed to address prospective clients’ questions and concerns rather than simply produce more content. The playbook outlined four areas law firms should identify
1. The types of cases the firm wants to attract.
2. What prospective clients need to know before choosing a lawyer.
3. The questions, concerns, misconceptions and objections prospects commonly have.
4. The content opportunities that move potential clients toward action.
Participants also received a practical 90-day roadmap:
Days 1–30: Answer the questions clients are already asking.
Days 31–60: Address common misunderstandings before they become obstacles.
Days 61–90: Remove friction, overcome objections, and make it easier for prospective clients to say yes.
The session concluded with a framework for mapping the entire client journey from educational content to law firm consultation.
Across all three workshops, Scott Berry and his co-panelists emphasized that attracting potential clients is only part of growing a law firm. Immigration and family law firms also need effective intake, consultation, and follow-up processes to turn those opportunities into signed clients. As AI changes how people find legal services, MarketCrest encourages firms to adopt new technology without losing sight of what drives revenue. MarketCrest also distributed hundreds of complimentary copies of The Law Firm Intake Playbook to conference attendees. The book helps law firms identify missed opportunities in their client acquisition process and improve how they handle inquiries, book consultations, convert prospects into clients, and follow up with people who have not yet hired the firm.
“Law firm growth is won or lost between first impression and signed retainer,” Berry said. “Our goal at Kaleidoscope was to help firms understand how AI, visibility and content fit into that larger client acquisition journey.”
