HOUSTON, TX, UNITED STATES, September 3, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — AWAKE America, a ministry of Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef, will bring Christians from across Greater Houston together Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, for AWAKE Houston—a citywide evening of worship, prayer and the uncompromised proclamation of God’s Word. The gathering begins at 7 p.m. CT at Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land.

Led by AWAKE America founder Dr. Michael Youssef and GRAMMY-winning worship artist Chris Tomlin, the rally will call believers to wholehearted faith in Jesus Christ, personal repentance and renewed commitment to the Great Commission. Dr. O.S. Hawkins will host the evening, and evangelist Dr. Ahmed Joktan, founder of Mecca to Christ Ministries International, will join as a guest speaker.

The heart of AWAKE Houston is both inward and outward: that God would revive His Church and send His people back into their neighborhoods, workplaces and communities ready to live and proclaim the Gospel. In one of America’s largest and most diverse metropolitan areas, the rally will unite believers around the conviction that Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Church, the only way to salvation and the only lasting hope for the city and the nation.
